Hello and welcome fellow alumni and visitors to Tarpon Tales! This site is dedicated to capturing and sharing the rich history of South Lafourche High School located in Galliano, Louisiana.

UPDATES TO THE SITE: August 16, 2025

  • Athletics - SL Football records have been added to the site.

  • Lagniappe Menu - Additional yearbooks from Larose Cut-Off and Galliano have been added to the site.

  • Lagniappe Menu now has the LCO 1961 yearbook added to the site. Yearbooks from High School and Jr. High will be added as they are scanned.

  • The entire Cut Off High School yearbook from 1947 - 48 has been added to the Lagniappe menu.

  • Alumni / Reunions - Reunion plans for SLHS Class of 1975 and Class of 1985

  • Faculty / Faculty & Staff  - Compiled a list of every teacher and staff member from all 58 yearbooks. Not every yearbook listed the subject taught. N/A means "Not Available". Please submit a correction on the contact form at the bottom of the page.

  • In Memoriam - Listing of deceased alumni. If you want a deceased alumni listed, or provide missing information, send me their information on the contact link at the bottom of the page.

  • Reunions - Any alumni who are planning a reunion or get-together, send me the information to be posted

  • Class Photos - If you have a class reunion group photo and want it included, email me a copy at the email below.

  • LCO JR. HIGH YEARBOOKS FOR 1971, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1982, 1983, 1989, 1990, 1997 TO SCAN.

  • GALLIANO JR. HIGH YEARBOOKS FOR 1973 AND 1984 THRU 1999.

  • GOLDEN MEADOW JR. HIGH YEARBOOKS FOR 1968 THRU 1994.
